Every kitchen needs a grain mill – no exceptions – and for more than just flour. You can grind up corn to make polenta, oats for porridge and (depending on the model) grind up dried nuts or beans.

I’m fortunate enough to have a KitchenAid (something else I think every kitchen has to have) with the grain grinding attachment, but if I wasn’t a non-electric counter-top model would be top of my wish list.
